Southbound drivers on Custer Parkway will move to newly built pavement between Lookout Road and Canyon Creek Drive beginning Monday, Oct. 12, according to an Oct. 9 City of Richardson notice.
One lane will remain available in each direction. Traffic will use the outside lanes while crews work in the closed inside lanes on the median, landscaping and irrigation.
The notice gives drivers a specific start date for a switch previously expected sometime in October. It does not announce that the overall Custer Parkway project is finished. The city asks drivers to watch for changing traffic patterns through the work area.
