UT Dallas lists a 30-credit Master of Science in Sustainability Planning and Policy in its 2026 graduate catalog. The university’s School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences identifies fall 2026 as the program’s start.
The curriculum combines sustainability, urban planning, environmental economics, geographic information systems and disaster management. Students must finish at least 30 semester credit hours and maintain a minimum 3.0 overall GPA to graduate.
Applicants need a bachelor’s degree and must submit materials including a statement of purpose and two recommendation letters. The catalog lists regular deadlines of May 1 for fall admission and October 1 for spring admission. The regular spring deadline has passed; late completed applications may be reviewed only if space remains in the incoming class.
