Richardson’s annual introduction to local workplaces grew beyond a single day this year, with students from Richardson ISD and Plano ISD exploring careers through a weeklong program.
In an Oct. 9 report, the city said its third annual Industry Day expanded into Industry Week. Students toured workplaces and met professionals to learn about potential career paths.
Participating employers included Texas Instruments, Halff and Zipline, along with Richardson’s Facilities & Fleet and Public Services departments.
