In the Lake Highlands learning community, families need a referral for kindergarten and grades 1, 3 and 4. Second- and fifth-graders are tested automatically.
In the Berkner, Pearce and Richardson learning communities, referrals are required for kindergarten and grades 1 and 3 through 5. Second- and sixth-graders are tested automatically.
Students receiving GT2 services may be referred to retest for GT3, except in the grades already scheduled for automatic testing.
