Richardson Public Library patrons have until Friday, Oct. 2, to return items borrowed through interlibrary loan before the library begins its move back to West Arapaho Road.
The city says those materials must go back to their lending libraries before the temporary Richardson location closes. Other approaching deadlines affect holds, printing and checkouts.
Monday, Oct. 5, is the last day to place a hold or submit a 3D-print job. Patrons can check out materials and collect existing holds through Sunday, Oct. 11. The library and its book drop close at 6 p.m. that day.
Staff will move from 2360 Campbell Creek Blvd. to the renovated library at 421 W. Arapaho Road. The city estimates the move will take about six weeks; its notices do not give a reopening date.
Due dates for the library’s own materials checked out before the closure will extend until reopening. Interlibrary loans still need to be returned by Oct. 2.
