Bread Zeppelin will open its new Richardson restaurant on Sept. 30, marking the latest addition to its Texas expansion. The grand opening begins at 10 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held in partnership with the Richardson Chamber of Commerce. The event also includes a "bread coring ceremony" where the first Zeppelin served at the location is cut and cored.

During the opening, The Ticket will broadcast "The Hardline" live from the dining room.

Guests attending the opening day festivities can participate in several promotions. The first 50 guests, who must be loyalty members, will receive free Zeppelins for one year. Additionally, entrées will be discounted by 50% between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. for in-store orders during the live radio remote. Mystery receipt giveaways will offer prizes including a Bread Zeppelin YETI tumbler, earbuds, and a Bose speaker.

The celebration continues over the opening weekend on Oct. 3 and Oct. 4, with free kids meals for children under 10 available in-store. A QR code giveaway will also allow local organizations and sports teams to enter for a chance to receive sponsorship support from the brand.

From Oct. 5 to Oct. 11, the restaurant will offer two daily giveaways where guests can scan an in-store code for a chance to win catering for 12 people. Entrées will be 25% off after 5 p.m. for in-store orders, limited to one per person. Catering orders sent to the brand's email address will receive a 25% discount through Oct. 31, alongside bounce-back offers.

The menu centers on the Zeppelin, a toasted artisan baguette hollowed out and filled with salads, housemade dressings, and fresh proteins. Guests can also order the Zeppelin as a bowl, along with soups and seasonal specials. A limited-time Pink Lady salad, featuring grilled chicken, apples, and goat cheese, will be available through Oct. 31.

For each Zeppelin or bowl sold, the brand will donate $1 to Breast Cancer Can Stick It! in the DFW area and The Rose in Houston, continuing a three-year tradition for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Co-Founder Troy Charhon noted that the Richardson location was chosen for its community feel and the mix of residents and workers in the area. Co-Founder Andrew Schoellkopf expressed enthusiasm for bringing the full dining experience to the new neighborhood. The restaurant will be open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
