Richardson ISD is asking staff members and parents to participate in a survey related to the Texas Education Agency’s Differentiated Monitoring and Support process for special education. The district stated that it is participating in this process as part of its commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in education.

The survey is described as brief, taking approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete. RISD staff and parents are highly encouraged to share their experiences and perspectives through the survey. The district noted that feedback is an important part of the monitoring process.

Residents are directed to review a formal letter from the TEA for additional information about the monitoring process. The letter includes direct instructions and links to complete the survey. A Spanish version of the letter is also available.

According to the district, the feedback collected will help highlight strengths and identify opportunities to continue improving the services and support provided to students and families. The announcement emphasizes that the survey is a key component of the ongoing review of special education services within the district.
