Texas A&M Athletics has revealed plans for numerous upgrades at Kyle Field, enhancing the experience for fans during the 2026 season. This initiative is significant for the broader Dallas-Fort Worth area, as many local fans attend games at the stadium.
Among the improvements, a new fan guide and stadium map will be accessible via the 12th Man App, aiding attendees in navigating the venue. The app will also offer essential gameday information, alerts, and short-form videos. A statue honoring R.C. Slocum, the winningest head coach in Texas A&M football history, will be placed outside the stadium's north end.
To make concessions more affordable, popular items like hot dogs, nachos, and candy will see a price reduction of $1, and a new $5 popcorn option will be introduced. Additionally, a new point-of-sale system at concession stands is expected to decrease wait times for fans.
New food options will include offerings from local vendors Mai Shan Yun and Agave, along with a special item called the BTHO Dog, featuring two footlong hot dogs with various toppings. The Coors Light Beer Garden, which was introduced during the College Football Playoff, will become a permanent feature at Kyle Field, open for all home games.
Fans will also notice 26 new LED displays throughout the stadium, enhancing the visual experience. The Texas A&M Sports Network will expand its pregame coverage with a two-hour show, starting an hour earlier than in previous years, allowing fans to enjoy live broadcasts near the 12th Man statue.
