In a recent volleyball match against TCU, Abby Vander Wal of the Texas Longhorns had to leave the game after sustaining a knee injury. The incident took place during a scramble on the court, leading to Vander Wal falling and remaining down while visibly holding her knee.

Unable to bear weight on her leg, Vander Wal was helped off the court by the training staff. She did not return for the rest of the set, which the Longhorns managed to win by sweeping TCU. Prior to her exit, Vander Wal had recorded two kills and her topspin serve contributed to two scoring runs for Texas.

Further information about the extent of Vander Wal's injury has not yet been disclosed, and the situation is still developing.
