To enhance their roster, the Cowboys have added running back Emari Demercado, who was picked up off waivers from Kansas City. While there is no assurance of Blue or Mafah returning to the practice squad, Schottenheimer communicated the uncertainty surrounding their futures. The Cowboys currently have 13 players on their practice squad, which can include up to 16 players, with an exemption for one more due to the International Player Pathway program, which involves defensive tackle Dayo Odeleye.
