The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a one-year extension with wide receiver Ryan Flournoy, a deal reportedly worth $6 million that would keep him under contract through the 2027 season. The agreement is expected to be signed this week, before Dallas opens its regular season against the New York Giants.
Dallas selected Flournoy in the sixth round of the 2024 draft. The team waived him during its initial roster reductions in 2025, but he cleared waivers and returned through the Cowboys' practice squad. That move replaced his original four-year rookie contract, leaving him with three years on the replacement deal and a possible restricted-free-agent season after 2026.
The extension removes that potential free-agency period and gives Dallas another season of control. The Cowboys characterized Flournoy's 2025 campaign as a breakout year, creating opportunities for him to continue developing in 2026 and 2027 while leaving open the possibility of a longer deal later. Dallas has also reached a three-year extension agreement with tight end Brevyn Spann-Ford.
