Stephen Jones, the team’s executive vice president, said Overshown and Hooker may have an opportunity to play in Week 4 at Houston. Overshown has a hamstring strain, and Hooker is dealing with a fractured forearm. Both injuries happened in the season opener against the Giants, and both missed Dallas’ Week 2 win over Washington.
Overshown calls the defense’s signals. Neither player has been cleared, and the source did not say a return was likely. Durant, sidelined by a hamstring injury, and Locke, who has a foot injury, are not expected to be ready for Houston.
