Houston wide receiver Nico Collins could be nearing a return after missing the Texans’ last two games with a Grade 1 hamstring strain. Coach DeMeco Ryans said Monday that he is hopeful Collins will be available for the team’s Week 4 matchup with the Cowboys.

Collins has been away from practice for the past two weeks. His chances of playing Sunday would improve if he can take part in practice, even on a limited basis, at some point from Wednesday through Friday. Ryans’ comments offered hope of a return, but Collins’ availability remains unsettled.

Houston is 0-3 to begin the season, and the offense has had difficulty during the past two games without Collins. The update was reported by cbssports.com.
