Trent Brown was back at Texans practice Thursday, but Nico Collins remained sidelined ahead of Houston’s Week 3 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts. Collins has now missed two practices this week and has not taken part in the team’s last four sessions since his injury. The available report gives no further information about his condition.

Brown, who has wrist and knee injuries listed, has started both of Houston’s regular-season games. His return to the field keeps him in position to remain the starting right tackle if his progress continues before Sunday’s game. In two games, he has been charged with four penalties, one sack and eight pressures.

Houston chose Brown for the job after Braden Smith sustained a foot injury during the preseason. Smith was placed on injured reserve for the season’s opening four weeks. Blake Fisher and Nate Thomas are listed as the other tackle options behind Brown. Fisher was chosen in the second round of the 2024 draft, while Thomas arrived in a trade completed during roster cutdowns.
