Dallas added linebacker Barron to its 53-player roster and brought up cornerback Reddy Steward from the practice squad before playing the Baltimore Ravens in Rio de Janeiro. Barron had appeared in Dallas' previous game through a temporary practice-squad elevation. Steward gives the Cowboys another defensive-back option after playing substantial snaps in 2025 as a nickel cornerback and occasionally at safety.
Four players will be unavailable for the trip. P.J. Locke will move to injured reserve because of the foot injury he sustained against Washington, a designation that keeps him out for a minimum of four additional weeks.
Malik Hooker remains sidelined while recovering from a fractured forearm. Linebacker DeMarvion Overshown and cornerback Cobie Durant are also ruled out with hamstring injuries. Durant had been a starter and was hurt during Dallas' Week 2 victory over Washington.
Linebackers Jaishawn Barham and Dee Winters were injured in that game but finished it. With Overshown unavailable, Barron adds linebacker depth. Steward's versatility is relevant to a secondary that still includes safeties Jalen Thompson, Caleb Downs, Markquese Bell and Alijah Clark. The Dallas Cowboys' official website reported the roster updates.
