The offensive surge continued into the sixth inning. Marte doubled to right field to score Waldschmidt, and Moreno singled to center to drive in Marte. The margin widened significantly when Carroll homered to left center field, a 382-foot shot that scored Moreno.
Arenado finished the scoring with a 371-foot home run to left field. These two home runs accounted for all the extra-base hits in the game.
