Twins rout Rangers 10-2 as Clemens, Keaschall feast on deGrom

Twins secure 10-2 victory

The Minnesota Twins defeated the Texas Rangers 10-2 on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Target Field in Minneapolis. The home team capitalized on a dominant offensive performance to secure the win, improving their record to 76-84. The Rangers, who dropped to 79-81, could not overcome a shaky start from their pitching staff. Attendance at the venue stood at 25,768 fans.

Early deficit grows

The Twins began their comeback in the fourth inning. Keaschall doubled to center field, allowing Kreidler to score and cutting the deficit to 7-2. Clemens singled to right field, driving in Keaschall to make it 8-2.

In the sixth inning, Clemens homered to left-center field, a shot that traveled 398 feet. This home run scored Keaschall and extended Minnesota’s lead to 10-2. This was the only home run recorded in the game.

Pitching performances

Jacob deGrom took the loss for the Rangers. He pitched four innings, allowing eight hits and eight earned runs while walking three batters and striking out five. His record now stands at 11-11. Gavin Collyer pitched two innings, allowing two hits and two earned runs with one strikeout.
