Zillow said homes went to pending in around 16 days as of June 30, 2026. Realtor.com reported average days on market at 44 days in June 2026.

Freddie Mac's Primary Mortgage Market Survey put the average 30-year fixed-rate mortgage at 6.66% as of July 30, 2026, up from 6.58% a week earlier and below 6.72% a year earlier.

What changed from last year

Redfin's year-over-year sales count decreased from 284 to 282. Realtor.com average days on market rose from about 36 days to 44 days. Redfin's median sale price was up 2.7% from a year earlier.
