Richardson voters who want to cast a ballot in person before Nov. 3 will find early voting sites inside the city only on the Dallas County side, according to the latest lists from the two counties that share the city.
Dallas County's early voting list for the Nov. 3 joint general election, a version dated Oct. 8 and posted again Sunday afternoon, names 84 early voting centers countywide. Three are in Richardson:
- Islamic Association of North Texas, 840 Abrams Road, in the downstairs classroom by the gym
- Ministerios Charisma, 740 Melrose Drive, in the large side room
- Arzell Ball Center, 410 Greenville Ave., Room 119
Collin County's preliminary early voting list, attached to election notices the county has posted, has no Richardson address among its sites. The notice says voters may cast an early ballot at any early voting site in the county where they are registered.
Early voting runs Monday, Oct. 19, through Friday, Oct. 30. Collin County's posted hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 19-23; 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25; and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 26-30. Dallas County's vote center list does not include hours.
Election Day
On Tuesday, Nov. 3, polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Richardson has many more choices. Dallas County's Election Day list has 444 sites countywide, 17 of them in Richardson.
