The Princeton Review has ranked the University of Texas at Dallas first in the state for internships for the third year in a row, the university announced Friday.
The Richardson campus placed fourth in the nation in that internship category, according to UT Dallas. In the Review's broader Best Value Colleges ranking, it came in as the third-best public university in Texas and No. 37 among public universities nationally.
The Princeton Review publishes 14 rankings under its Best Value Colleges banner and recognizes more than 200 schools. The selections draw on more than 40 data points covering academics, cost, financial aid, student debt, graduation rates and career outcomes, using information gathered from more than 650 institutions between fall 2025 and spring 2026, the university said.
The internship count
UT Dallas students were awarded more than 2,500 internships from fall 2025 through summer 2026, according to the university's Career Center, which noted that not every student who landed one reported it.
"It is especially encouraging to see national recognition for the real-world experiences that help prepare our graduates to lead and succeed," UT Dallas President Prabhas V. Moghe said in the announcement.
