Richardson's long-running fall festival returns for its 50th year at Huffhines Park, a two-day outdoor event. The weekend includes a juried marketplace of artists and craft vendors, live music on two stages, a beer garden, festival food vendors, and family activities including pumpkin decorating, a petting zoo, scarecrow village, and pumpkin games. Saturday features Pawtoberfest, the dog-focused portion with pet vendors, puppy yoga, a pet costume contest, and the Great Ball Hunt. Sunday hosts the Kids Market, where young entrepreneurs ages 5–17 sell their own handmade goods, 12:00–4:00 PM. Free parking on-site. This listing covers Saturday, October 17.
