Tibetan Buddhist monks open a residency at the Crow Museum on the UT Dallas campus with a ritual blessing of the space before beginning a sand mandala. After the ceremony the monks begin the detailed line work for the mandala design. Admission is free with registration, and the program is held at the O'Donnell Athenaeum.
