The Richardson area hosts a mix of sports viewing, cultural events, and community resources this week. Soccer fans can attend FIFA World Cup gatherings at Soccer Spectrum, located at 1251 Digital Dr. These events run through July 19, with start times varying between noon and 9 p.m.

Admission requires a $50 deposit for two to four people, which applies toward food and beverage purchases at the venue's indoor and outdoor bars.

On June 24, CityLine Plaza at 1150 State St. will host a free watch party for the Mexico versus Czechia match. Activities begin at 6:30 p.m., with kickoff at 8 p.m. The Eisemann Center at 2351 Performance Dr. will hold Miss Texas and Miss Texas’ Outstanding Teen preliminaries on June 24 and 25 at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $54.50 to $134.

Other weekly offerings include free coworking day passes every Wednesday through August at Communion Neighborhood Cooperative, 514 Lockwood Dr., from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Richardson Public Library will present a T(h)inker Thursdays program on June 25 for children ages 9 to 12, focusing on aurora-inspired art, followed by a 3D printing demonstration.

Alamo Drafthouse at 100 S. Central Expy. will screen Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio on June 26 and July 1 for $7.
