Dickey’s Barbecue Pit has reopened its Richardson location on North Coit Road under new ownership. The restaurant officially welcomed customers on September 16, marking a return for the establishment that has operated in the area since 2014.
Abdelqader Bin Tareef is the new owner and operator of the site located at 2160 N. Coit Road within the Lennox Center shopping complex. He assumes the role of Pit Master, focusing on community engagement and maintaining the brand’s service standards.
The restaurant has served local families, students, and businesses in North Dallas for over a decade. Bin Tareef expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the Richardson area and invited both returning patrons and new visitors to meet the staff.

The location operates daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. It offers dine-in, drive-thru, and pickup options, consistent with the broader Dickey’s Barbecue Pit brand, which was founded in 1941.
