Parents of enrolled Richardson Independent School District (RISD) students may now complete the Free and Reduced Meal Application for the 2026-27 school year. The district notes that new forms must be completed each school year. Paper applications are available at each campus and in the Child Nutrition office if needed.
Student meals will be available for purchase this school year. Students who qualify based on established guidelines and eligibility criteria may receive breakfast and lunch meals at little to no cost. The meal prices for the 2026-2027 school year are set as follows: student breakfast is $2.10, elementary lunch is $3.05, and secondary lunch is $3.20.
Students who attend Community Eligibility Program (CEP) schools receive breakfast and lunch at no charge and do not need to fill out the Free and Reduced Meal Application. Families with students at these schools are instructed to follow a provided link to complete their family information form through RISD.
