Richardson ISD College Fair Set for September 15

The Richardson Independent School District (RISD) has announced its upcoming College Fair, scheduled for Tuesday, September 15. The event will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Lake Highlands High School Hub, located at 9449 Church Rd., Dallas, TX 75238.

Hosted by RISD Counseling and Prevention Services, the fair is open to all RISD high school students at no cost. The event provides an opportunity for attendees to meet with representatives from a variety of colleges, universities, and career institutes. Participants can learn more about postsecondary options and specific programs of interest directly from these representatives.

To facilitate interactions, the district encourages students to register in advance to receive a personal barcode. Upon registration, students will be sent this barcode via text message and email. When a college representative scans the barcode at the fair, their information is transmitted to the institution.
