Richardson Independent School District has announced that the Spring 2026 State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR) results for grades 3 through 8 and End of Course (EOC) exams are now available to the public. The district encourages parents and guardians to access these academic records through the RISD Focus Parent Portal.

To retrieve test scores, users must first log in to the Focus Parent Portal. Once logged in, navigate to the My Child section and select Child Info. From there, click on Assessment Rpt Cards. Scroll down to the Texas Test Scores section and select the link to go to the Texas Student Portal. This portal is available in both English and Spanish.

Parents who do not currently have access to the Parent Portal can visit the district website for directions on how to create an account. The district emphasizes that these results are part of its ongoing commitment to its North Star Goal. This goal focuses on ensuring that every student, teacher, and leader meets or exceeds academic growth goals.

Campus staff and leaders will continue to use multiple data points, including these test results, to adjust instructional design. The objective is to ensure that every child is growing academically. The release of these scores provides families with specific data regarding student performance in state-mandated assessments for the spring semester of 2026.

Families are advised to review the results carefully and utilize the provided portal instructions to view detailed report cards. The district remains focused on using this data to support educational outcomes across all campuses.
