The Richardson Independent School District has rescheduled several high school football games originally set for Thursday and Friday, August 27-28. The changes affect 9th grade, Junior Varsity, and Varsity matchups across multiple schools. The district cited forecasted heat as the reason for moving these contests to later start times.
Schedule Changes by School
Berkner High School has adjusted its games against Eulex Trinity. The 9th grade game on August 27 is now scheduled for 6:00 PM at Berkner High School "B" Field. The Varsity game on August 28 will begin at 7:30 PM at Ram Wildcat Stadium.
Lake Highlands High School games against Forney have also been updated. On August 27, the 9th grade games are set for 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM at Forney High School and Stadium. The Junior Varsity games on that same day will take place at Wildcat Ram Stadium, with kickoff times at 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM.
The Varsity game on August 28 is scheduled for 7:00 PM at Forney High School and Stadium.
Richardson High School matchups against Wylie East have been modified. On August 27, the 9th grade game will start at 6:00 PM at Richardson High School. The Junior Varsity games on that day are set for 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM at Eagle Mustang Stadium. The Varsity game on August 28 will be played at Wylie High School with a 7:30 PM start.
JJ Pearce High School games against Wylie have also seen changes. On August 27, the 9th grade games are scheduled for 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM at PHS "B" Field. The Junior Varsity game on that day will be held at Wylie High School at 6:00 PM. The Varsity game on August 28 is set for 7:30 PM at Mustang Eagle Stadium.
