As the Dallas Cowboys prepare for the start of the 2026 NFL season, they are entering the week with a mostly healthy roster. The team has avoided significant injuries during the offseason, which they hope will continue through the upcoming season.

Currently, two players are dealing with injuries. Defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard is recovering from an abs/groin injury. He was observed participating in rehabilitation activities on September 1, suggesting he may have a chance to play in the season opener, though he might require more time to fully heal.

Guard Ajani Cornelius, who has shown potential in training camp, is also on the mend. He was absent from practice on September 2, but he was seen engaging in rehab work on September 1, which indicates he could be available for Week 1, contingent on his recovery progress.

Additionally, linebacker Marist Liufau and cornerback Devin Moore have been placed on injured reserve. Liufau suffered a fractured forearm during the preseason finale and underwent surgery, while Moore is facing a hip injury, having previously dealt with groin issues. Moore's injury history raises questions about his contributions this season.

Updates on Bullard and Cornelius are anticipated as the week continues, while Liufau and Moore will be out for at least the first four weeks of the season.
