SMU has enrolled fifth-year guard Oziyah Sellers and added him to its men’s basketball program, although the school has not said when his eligibility will be decided. Sellers is practicing with the team while that review continues.
Sellers started all 36 of his games for St. John’s in 2025-26, helping the Red Storm post a 30-7 record and win the Big East championship. He produced 10.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. Before that, he started every game for Stanford in 2024-25 and averaged 13.7 points in the ACC.
The Dallas program is entering Enfield’s third season as coach and will begin 2026-27 with a transfer class that On3 ranked 21st nationally. Sellers played two seasons at USC under Andy Enfield. He has connected on 37.8% of his career three-point attempts, including 42.9% during his sophomore season at USC, and has made 86.9% of his free throws.
