Houston Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said Sept. 14 that linebacker Henry To’oTo’o is expected to miss time with a shoulder injury. The injury occurred during the Texans’ 36-31 Week 1 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
To’oTo’o left the game in the fourth quarter and did not return while the result remained undecided. He made two tackles before departing. During the 2025 season, he recorded 95 total tackles after surpassing 100 tackles in 2024.
The injury creates another concern for Houston’s linebacker group. Troy Chapman of Over The Cap wrote on X that the development was not surprising after he saw To’oTo’o using a sling. Garret Williams, who posts as Houston Stressans, identified Wade Woodaz and Jake Hansen as possible replacements, though Hansen also was injured during the game.
No further information about To’oTo’o’s injury was released. The report is based on information from heavy.com.
