Rays Power Past Rangers

The Tampa Bay Rays defeated the Texas Rangers 3-0 on Wednesday at Tropicana Field, with home runs from Díaz and Vilade providing all the offense needed. The victory improved Tampa Bay’s record to 63-44, while Texas fell to 55-53.

Offensive Output

Tampa Bay struck early in the first inning. Díaz launched a 372-foot home run to right field, giving the Rays a 1-0 lead. Later in the same frame, Vilade added a two-run shot to left center, measuring 420 feet, and scoring Aranda to extend the advantage to 3-0. The Rangers were unable to respond, finishing with zero runs.

Pitching Performance
