Lennox makes heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration products, and runs its corporate headquarters at 2140 Lake Park Boulevard in Richardson, home to its engineering, product, sales and executive teams. The company traces its roots to 1895 in Marshalltown, Iowa, and today reports roughly 10,000 employees across North America and Asia.
The U.S. News list evaluated about 3,900 companies across 14 industries on six measures: quality of pay and benefits, work-life balance and flexibility, job and company stability, physical and psychological comfort, belongingness and esteem, and career opportunities and professional development.
Lennox was Richardson's lone honoree, alongside 24 companies headquartered in Dallas, 13 in Irving, five in Plano and two identified with Fort Worth. The rankings were first reported locally by CultureMap Fort Worth.
