Injury During Practice Leads to Airlift of Crandall High School Football Player

A Crandall High School football player was airlifted following an injury during practice.

A football player at Crandall High School was transported by helicopter to a hospital after being injured during practice, according to the Crandall Independent School District. The district confirmed that a medical helicopter landed near the baseball fields at the school to assist in the transport of the injured athlete.

Crandall ISD expressed concern for the student and their family, requesting that the community honor their privacy during this challenging time. Specifics regarding the injury and the events leading up to it have not been made public. Efforts to obtain additional details from the district have yet to yield further information.
