The Houston Texans have officially signed tight end Louis Hansen again. This marks Hansen's return to the team after he was initially added in June and subsequently waived in late July. His re-signing did not require any corresponding roster adjustments.
Hansen, who went undrafted in April, played college football at both the University of Michigan and the University of Connecticut. Throughout his collegiate career, he accumulated 46 receptions, totaling 463 yards and four touchdowns over 40 games.
The current tight end lineup for the Texans also features Dalton Schultz, Foster Moreau, Marlin Klein, Cade Stover, Brevin Jordan, and Layne Pryor. Details regarding Hansen's specific role within the team have not yet been disclosed.
