The Houston Texans have added cornerback Bryce Hall to their roster, addressing injury concerns in the secondary. This signing was confirmed by general manager Nick Caserio on August 17, following Hall's workout with the team. Hall, who is 28 years old, has previously played for the New York Jets and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He was selected in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, being the 158th overall pick.

In his NFL career, Hall has started in 26 out of 40 games, recording a total of 122 tackles. His stats also include two interceptions, one fumble recovery, one defensive touchdown, and half a sack. Standing at 6-foot-1, he brings versatility to the team and is expected to enhance special teams, an area where the Texans are looking to improve.

The Texans are currently dealing with several injuries in their secondary, which includes players like Tank Dell and Brevin Jordan who are not practicing. Hall's signing comes at a crucial time as the team prepares for an upcoming preseason matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. Further updates regarding the Texans' roster and injury status are expected as the preseason unfolds.
