The Dallas Cowboys wrapped up their 2026 training camp on Wednesday at The Star, concluding practices that began on July 29. Fans were present for the last session, which followed a notable trip to Oxnard. The team is preparing to face the New Orleans Saints in their final preseason game before solidifying their 53-man roster for the regular season.
During the last practice, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb made a significant impact, showcasing his talents after limited participation in earlier sessions due to the starters being out. He had multiple connections with quarterback Dak Prescott, including a touchdown catch over cornerback Cobie Durant. Lamb also executed a remarkable one-handed catch for another touchdown during red zone drills.
Cornerback Cobie Durant faced some difficulties during the practice, allowing two touchdowns, one to Lamb and another to George Pickens. Nevertheless, Durant has established himself as a starting cornerback alongside DaRon Bland throughout the training camp. Linebacker Jaishawn Barham also made a strong impression, starting on defense and demonstrating his aggressiveness.
He pressured Prescott during a blitz, which would have resulted in a sack in a game scenario. Barham has shown ongoing improvement since the second preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals.
As the Cowboys gear up for their final preseason matchup, the team remains hopeful about their offensive capabilities and overall performance as they head into the regular season.
